The Bright Morning Star Prisons and Homelessness Outreach

The Bright Morning Star Prisons and Homelessness Outreach (BMS) is a volunteering organization and an award-winning charity established in 2015 by Prophetess Monsurat Ibilola Osarobo. To support, elevate, empower, and rebuild the lives of the most vulnerable people in London.

Our activities

THE BMS OFFICE

The BMS office at Chartham Court Community Hall Canterbury Crescent Brixton London SW9 7PT.
Open from 11am – 7pm. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

At The BMS office, we do food sharing, sign posting, providing information, IT Training, we distribute hygiene products, toiletries, Winter package, clothes, footwears, sleeping bags,

Outreach

We work to Rebuild the Lives of Homeless and rough sleepers by setting up a stall to support and feed the homeless in the community. We also provide information and referrers for them to come into our office. The BMS works with Volunteers in London like Southwark, Wansworth, Newham, Croydon, Lambet Council, and Westminster Abbey.

Prison Ministry Outreach, The Bright Morning start Prison and Homelessness Outreah also do prison visit to various prisons in United Kindom and Nigeria.

The BMS Outreach extentend to the older citizen in the community. This is done by delivery foods to the old people in their various homes, payment of bills, and so on.

The BMS Day Centre

The BMS Day Centre is open every Tuesday at No 1, OPAL STREET, PEDDLAR ACRE COMMUNITY HALL, LONDON SE11 4HZ.

The Bright Morning Star Prison and Homelessness Day centre for the homeless, rough sleepers and vulnrable community member. e.g. Job Seekers, Low Income Families, Young People, Refugee, Assuylum Seekers, and Older Citizen.   

The BMS activities at the day centre are Coffee Morning, Arts and Craft, Sewing Lesson, Food Sharing, Health and Wellbeing activities, Healthy Eating, and Cooking Lesson.

Referrers

The BMS Referrer Program is designed to send or direct the vulnrable people to an expert, the council or specialist organization for consideration based on previous discussion or counselling with the individual.
