The Bright Morning Star Prison and Homeless Outreach was established in 2015 with the name The Bright Morning Star Evangelical International Ministries. This name was changed in 2017. The Bright Morning Star Prison and Homeless Outreach is a Charitable Organisation established through inspiration I received from God in 2013. But took me another 2 years to start the organisation.
The organisation is to support the public especially the homeless people, elderly, and adults who need physical, spiritual and emotional supply. All these we are doing by visiting Prisons and homeless people to support them by providing food, cloths, footwear, sleeping bags etc. Our main vision is to providing shelter and a homeless cafe. Also, to support our elderly in their own homes through the work of our dedicated Volunteers.
We are always recruitment committed volunteers who is willing to serve in any capacity. We depend solely on the donations of friends, families and the general public to continue this support work. Churches for years, we have been working with churches who are willing to support us with a team of volunteers or in other ways. If your Church knows of a local prison where you would like to start a ministry as part of BMS, we would be more than happy to visit your church and provide you with a presentation and training. Your church could ‘adopt’ a prison and with the help of BMS, work as ‘missionaries’ to the adopted prison. We would also like to hear from Christian groups or individuals who could assist in writing to inmates, helping with Bible correspondence courses, Alpha or similar Christianity exploration courses.
