The BMS Homeless Project is making changes to the way we carry out our services to the General Public.
From the 1st of June 2020
Everyone using BMS services Will have their temperature taken with the thermometer and recorded befor entering the bms walk in Centre.
Both volunteers and service users will be tested.
The bms shall be handing out gloves, facemask hand sanitizers before entering can be allowed into the bms walk in Centre.
This to ensure the safety of both staff and every category of service Users due to the Pandemic
Social distancing rules from the Government must be obeyed at every stage at the Centre.
All volunteers have the responsibility to protect themselves and service users from exposure to Coronavirus disease.
The way the bms have been Outreaching to the Homeless on the street has Changed.
The BMS will be recruiting temporary paid staff to work as the admin for bms and Outreach staff coordinator.
Pret and mangers food collection and distribution.
All Pret and mangers food collection must be collected in a safe cooling bags and transferred in a cooling bags as we always do within an hour to the fridge.
All food must be eaten before 2pm the next day after the collection from Pret and Mongers Foundation.
The bms will not be held responsible for any food eaten after 2 PM if food poisoning occurs.
All volunteers that will volunteer at the Centre must be trained by bms for good hygiene.
